| July 5th, I hope you had a great holiday! I am so pleased we had some rain last night but it is too late for the blueberries. The plants can't produce and turn the berries over 95 degrees. OUR BLUEBERRIES ARE FINISHED FOR 09! The plants are young and every year will produce more. I do hope you will give us a chance next year. WE DO STILL HAVE BLACKBERRIES! COME AND GET THEM!. We are open 6:30 to 1:00 Tuesday-Saturday. It was so wonderful seeing old friends and making new ones this year. My favorite thing to do is visit with you. Thanks. NOW IS THE TIME TO SCHEDULE YOUR PUMPKIN PATCH TRIP. WE WILL BE OPEN SEPTEMBER 28TH TO OCTOBER 31ST. LOOK BELOW FOR THE INFO. WE WERE PACKED EVERYDAY LAST YEAR SO GET IN FIRST. | New to Garden of Eden Farm We have added a publishing company to Garden of Eden Farm’s services. We have published two great cookbooks that are for sale. Garden of Edibles Cookbook, 250 recipes, benefits Manna Kitchen in New Boston. $15.00. In December of 2008 we published Kitchen Creations of Malta Baptist Church. It has 300 recipes from wonderful cooks from the church. $10.00. The Pumpkin Patch Our first Pumpkin Patch in 2008 was a huge success. We had over 2,000 children visit, pick pumpkins, have story time, games, hay rides, lunchtime, coloring books and more. Schools, groups and the public are welcome Monday through Saturday 9am to 5pm. Groups must be booked in advance. Pageant and Modeling Training Shari is now training children and young adults for Pageants. She is designing and making the dresses for competitions and weddings.
